Coletivo POP was born in the context of the 1st edition of POP Festival in 2023, as a natural unfolding of the creation of the play "I hear you in the shadow of the empty square, but I can’t find you". Result of a collaborative process with the community of the island of São Miguel, the collective assumes itself as a hybrid space, bringing together professionals and non-professionals of the performing arts, in an approach that values inclusion, tolerance and active participation in the construction of common aesthetic objects.

Sinopse:
A esfera privada, refúgio das pressões do mundo exterior, é muitas vezes, um palco de tensões, desigualdades e relações de poder. Animais domésticos é um olhar sobre as estruturas ocultas de classe, raça e género dentro de uma sociedade, sobre como as pessoas vivem em casa, sobre a relação do mundo digital na vida privada, e a evolução das normas e atitudes sociais que definem o que antes era considerado privado e que agora é público.
