ABOUT THE PLAY
An interactive artistic process, a performance, where the audience and the actors merge to become co-creators of a unique play that is strongly linked to the specific context of the place where it is located.
Sensory Journeys present an unusual point of view of the city and its multiple dimensions. These journeys allow us to reach a deeper state of consciousness about our outer and inner space; Trips in which you are both a leader and a follower in a maze of symbols and images that cross the very fabric of the city where the buildings around you become the scenography and the passersby become the actors, in a unique performance that happens only HERE and NOW.
These are trips for those who love to explore and experience, and for those who seek the poetry and soul of the world around them. Last but not least, these are introspective explorations, which allow you to slow down, stop time, and even lose yourself completely.
It depends entirely on you and how far you go.

Sensory Theatre Sofia
Pioneers in creating immersive sensory performances and interdisciplinary art projects in Bulgaria since 2010. These are unusual interactive experiences that activate all the senses and the main character is the audience itself. Each presentation by the Sensory Theatre Sofia has a unique theme and takes place in several extraordinary places - abandoned factories, deserted community centers, museums, shopping malls, office buildings, and urban and natural environments. Sensory Theatre Sofia, in collaboration with the Institute for Silence Research, created a new artistic genre in 2016 called Sensory City Journeys and has since performed monthly in Sofia and occasionally in eight other cities in Bulgaria, as well as in other cities of Italy (Matera) Spain (Barcelona), Denmark (Vordingborg) and Austria (Vienna).
